Review: 1666 Amsterdam

Wow, I hardly know what I'm starting. What a game this is! Everything's right to the point. It's been a long time since I got so excited about a game. Because often you see the trailer and you think wow super fat! But then it'll be disappointing. Well 1666 Amsterdam is absolutely not disappointing! Ow and if you don't have English can be no problem the lyrics in Dutch. Audio can be changed to another language. The story is about one the ancestors of a girl whose grandparent was a witch and her grandfather had a ritual and has changed as your companion. You will investigate in amsterdam what is happening, but be careful because many know that you are a witch and will do everything to destroy the bloodline of witches. 

This game is also graphically made so super beautiful. My expectations were already quite high but once I started playing I didn't know what I saw. Every vein, every wrinkle, every age has everything that pertains to it and it is therefore really close to realistic. Why do I say close because it's still pixels at all times and no live images have been used. This is also impossible for a game. But if you look at it quickly and you don't see it's a game you'd think it's real. Even the veins in the trees and veins in the leaves can be seen. The further I got into the game, the more I was surprised how beautiful everything was made.

Audio-wise, it makes perfect sense. The rustling of the leaves, the conversations and whispering of the people, the flying and the walking. Everything just doesn't make any sense. Any timing is perfect. The sounds are like walking outside in amsterdam.

All in all, it's just a great game and I wouldn't change anything. I hope we get more of these kinds of games from the creators. And sneaking on multiple platforms will also become available because I give every gamer such a beautiful game.
