Review: Car Driving School Simulator

Nice. idea! Bad execution...

I saw the game Car Driving School Simulator and immediately thought: “I need that!”. Right I am the gameïIt's installed and started. The first two hours I loved it! I saw some mistakes, but that didn't bother me. Learning to drive and following traffic rules is a nice challenge, right? 

Unfortunately, the poorly-driving NPCs soon got the fun out of it... These NPC cars do not comply with the traffic rules, cut you off, sometimes block traffic for no reason and are regularly spawned wrongly, so you can't drive on. This often makes driving frustrating rather than educational. The control with mouse and keyboard is clumsy, with controller it is much better. Unfortunately there is also no support for steering and pedals. So far there are no updates or patches.

The game has only just appeared on Steam, but good reviews so far are not many. To be honest, I expected more from this developer. They have also created other games, like Hell Throne, Archery Club, Baseball Club and Build a Bridge! (Not very well-known titles, but I do.) That is precisely why it is disappointing that Car Driving School Simulator feels so unfinished and messy.

The game has potential and an attractive look, but the bad AI and countless bugs ruin the experience. I hope the developers will do something about this soon, because this game would have the right improvements éI think it's a good idea.
