Review: The Sims 4, Enchanting Nature

Magic, fairies and green ways come together in this atmospheric expansion Enchanting Nature

After the fairly fasted Business and Hobby lettuce Enchanting Nature a completely different way. Instead of careers or everyday hobby, this expansion revolves around magic, nature, fairies and life outside the modern world. The result? A fairytale atmosphere that literally and figuratively steers you Sims a different direction.

At the heart of this expansion are the fairies, a new occult life form. Fairies can record emotions from other Sims, which they then use to strengthen their own powers. You choose whether your fairy is moving in a harmonious or naughty direction, which in turn affects behavior and powers. This gameplay feels fresh and unique, especially for players who love storytelling or fantasy elements.

In addition, there are two new skills: Pharmacist, with which you make elixirs with magic effects, and natural life, aimed at self-sufficient living. Both are well connected to the fairy theme. The new career as natural healer also fits this approach, although the commands are repeated over time.

As far as looks are concerned, if you like fairy tales, this pack is good. Think of moss beds, mushroom chairs, round doors and natural fairy wings and flower outfits in CAS (Create-A-Sim). Everything is beautifully designed, but very focused on the magical theme if you make more everyday Sims, it's less useful.

Enchanting Nature is different than most extensions and that is exactly the charm.
