With the arrival of the 2026 Season Pack For EA SPORTS F1 25, a completely new era begins within Formula 1. While previous season updates were often limited to new versions, custom drivers and small gameplay enhancements, this expansion brings a virtually complete transformation of the sport to the game. Thanks to the introduction of the new 2026 regulations, the accession of Audi and Cadillac to the grid, a brand new circuit in Madrid and a completely renewed driving experience, this update feels more like a new game than a traditional seasonal expansion.

From the moment you first hit the track, you immediately notice that the cars feel fundamentally different. The new generation of Formula 1 cars uses active aerodynamics and advanced energy management systems, making races not only faster and more spectacular, but also more strategic. Where players used to be mainly involved in tyre management and fuel consumption, now it's much more about efficiency.ënt use electrical energy and choose the right time to attack or actually save energy. This provides a deeper and more realistic racing experience that will appeal to simrace enthusiasts.

One of the biggest eye-catchers of this update is the addition of two new teams: Audi and Cadillac. As a result the Formula 1 grid grows to eleven teams, which not only increases competition, but also adds fresh dynamics to both the Career Mode and My Team. Especially in longer carrièThis creates a more interesting battle on the grid, in which new talents and established names constantly compete to the highest positions.

Enlargement also has something special to offer in the field of circuits. The new Madring circuit in Madrid makes its debut and immediately impresses. The street circuit combines high speeds with technical sections, challenging braking zones and modern infrastructure. This makes the circuit feel unique within the current calendar and forms a nice variation between the existing tracks.

In addition to the changes on the track, EA Sports has also expanded the popular game modes. In Driver Career, players are confronted with the completely renewed 2026-grid, which makes each season different. New talents get the chance to break through, while experienced champions have to defend their position against a new generation of drivers. My Team also benefits from the extra teams and the changed competitive balance, making building a successful team more challenging and fun than ever.

Graphically, F1 25 remains one of the absolute top of the race genre. The new update brings improved lighting, sharper textures and optimized performance for both consoles and PC. Especially during rain races and night events, the graphic quality is excellent. The combination of realistic weather conditions, dynamic lighting and impressive circuits makes every race feel like an officialële Formula 1 broadcast.

However, enlargement also has some shortcomings. Although the new cars, teams and the Madring circuit add a lot to the experience, the amount of completely new content outside the season itself remains relatively limited. Players who had hoped for new gaming modes or major innovations outside the sporty changes may have expected a little more. In addition, the price of enlargement is high for what remains essentially a seasonal update. The renewed energy and aerodynamics system also requires some habitation, so new players may experience a steeper learning curve than in previous years.

In spite of these minor criticisms, the 2026 Season Pack shows the future of Formula 1. The combination of new regulations, renewed gameplay, additional teams, a new job and a greater focus on strategy provides a fresh experience that feels both realistic and challenging. For existing F1 fans, this expansion is almost indispensable and offers an excellent view on the next generation of the king's class of motor sports.

Verdict Jaimie

The new F1 26 DLC not only brings some new cars, drivers & teams with them, but a whole new way to race. The cars are completely different to drive compared to the f1 25 cars. The new cars and the new boost mode make racing much more exciting, difficult & More strategic. Every turn, every straight stretch and every catch-up, you have to make a different choice every time you put your boost mode in, which makes racing much more fun, and create a bigger challenge.ërt. You also need to get to know the car completely again, and learn to drive every circuit differently. The whole experience of the F1 game is completely different, and in my view much more fun.
