Review: The Sims 4: Horse Ranch
As a fervent fan of The Sims franchise and a fan of everything to do with horses, I couldn't wait to put on my boots and get started with The Sims 4 Horse Ranch extension. This long-awaited addition promised us the opportunity to let our virtual Sims enjoy life in the countryside and fulfill their passion for horses. After extensive play sessions I am delighted to share my experiences and thoughts in this review.
From the moment you open the Horse Ranch extension, you immediately notice the care and attention to detail that has been put into the game. The addition of beautifully designed horse races, riding equipment and rural architectural styles makes it easy to immerse your Sims in an idyllic rural life. The developers have clearly done their best to create an atmosphereëThis is why we are calling on the Commission to take action in this field.
The Horse Ranch not only adds horses to the Sims world, but also new gameplay elements that connect to the theme. So you can now build and manage your own horse stable, learn your Sims horseback riding and various horse-related carrièdevelop res and skills. The interactions between the Sims and their horses are extremely well worked out and add a whole new layer of depth to the gameplay. The care, training and breeding of horses really feels like a rewarding activity that you can spend hours in.
What struck me most was the emotional bond that your Sims can develop with their horses. Building a relationship of trust with your horse and achieving milestones in their training gives a sense of performance and commitment to your virtual animals. It is clear that the developers have spent a lot of time on the creëThis gives the gameplay an authentic touch.
In addition to horse related content, the Horse Ranch expansion includes new festivals, events and social activities to keep your Sims involved. This provides a varied gameplay experience that not only pertains to horses, but also to exploring the vibrant rural community.
However, there are some minor drawbacks. For example, I noticed that some horse-related activities may feel somewhat repetitive over time. Although taking care of your horses and training remains fun, I sometimes felt that there was a need for more variety to keep it interesting in the long term. In addition, it is unfortunate that some aspects, such as caring for wild animals on your ranch or the possibility to organise horse races, were missing from this expansion.
Overall, The Sims 4 Horse Ranch expansion has exceeded my expectations. It adds a welcome new dimension to the Sims 4 world and offers hours of fun to horse lovers as well as Sims fans. The atmospheric environment, well-developed horse interactions and countless new gameplay elements make this a must-have expansion for anyone who wants to immerse their Sims in a galloping simulation. Saddle up and enjoy the rural life in The Sims 4 Horse Ranch!

The Sims 4 Horse Ranch is a loving and well-developed extension that brings rural life to life and the bond between man and horse. The detailed horse races, realistic interactions and new gameplay elements provide a compelling experience that is both soothing and rewarding. Although some activities over time show some repetition and some features are lacking, the expansion remains a valuable addition for fans of De Sims and horse lovers. It is an expansion that allows you to gallop through a world of charm, emotion and creativity.
