Review: Whimside

Whimside is a cute and relaxing background game that is ideal to play alongside your daily activities. It doesn't require constant attention, so you can leave it perfectly open while you work, study or do something else. Once a special or new animal (a Whimling) appears, you automatically get a notification. This makes collecting never feel like an obligation, but just as a fun surprise that keeps your gaming experience alive. 

A special feature is the Twitch integration mode. This mode allows you to actively share Whimside with your viewers on Twitch. Twitch streamers can get their viewers directly involved in the game: for example, by giving your Whimlings attention in your garden (this gives you more gems) and with a new subscriber you get a boost for spawning weird whims. This gives the game a social dimension and makes it not only fun to play yourself, but also attractive to watch!
