Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora gets dark expansion from the Ashesâ€TM on December 19

Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have officially expanded From the Ashes announced for Avatar: Frontiers or Pandora. This action-adventure extension appears on 19 December, simultaneously with the cinema release of Avatar: Fire and Ash, and promises an intense, more personal experience in the world of Pandora.

Players return to the Western Frontier, where they once again explore the mysterious Kinglor Forest One brand new area inspired by the film Fire and Ash. The expansion introduces third-person gameplay, significantly enhancing the experience of the character and the environment.

A story of revenge and survival

In From the Ashes follow players' story So'lek, a hardened Na'vi warrior from the Trr'ong clan. After a brutal ambush by the RDA and their new allies, the ruthless Ash clan awakens So'lek in a world in flames. His family is torn apart, and driven by grief and vengeance, he begins a dangerous quest to reunite and protect his loved ones.

Close cooperation with Disney and Lightstorm

Enlargement was developed by Massive Entertainment, in cooperation with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney & Pixar Games. According to Joshua Izzo, Executive Vice-President Franchise Development at Lightstorm:

Different editions and bonus content

From the Ashes is available separately for players who already own the base game. New players can board with the From the Ashes Edition, in which the basic game, expansion and Floating Mountain Bonus Content are included. This bonus includes three unique banshee color palettes inspired by the Valley of Moâ€TMara in Pandora †Anyone who pre-orders the expansion individually will also receive this additional content.

Base game gets big update on December 5th

Pre-enlargement will appear on 5 December an important update for Avatar: Frontiers or Pandora. This includes two of the most requested functions in the community: one New Game+-mode and the long awaited third-person mode for the base game.

With From the Ashes and the upcoming update takes Ubisoft a firm step in the expansion of the Avatar universe, with film and game reinforcing each other in an immersive, interactive experience.
