Battlefield 2042 Season 4: Eleventh Hour is now available

Electronic Arts and DICE today have Battlefield 2042 Season 4: Eleventh Hour released. The season adds a lot of content to the game, including a brand new folder, a Specialist, multiple weapons, a vehicle, 100 new Battle Pass bulls and much more.

In Season 4, the battlefield moves to South Africa, where players compete on the new Flashpoint folder. The rocky landscapes of the region offer players a unique set of challenges. Vehicles can maneuver well outside while players in proximity fights get entangled.

The latest Specialist and ambush expert is Camila “Blasco†Her X6 Infiltration Device prevents hostile equipment from targeting her, disrupts active spotting technology and creates so-called dead zones. This will locate and reveal hostile technology within its range until it is destroyed or deactivated.

Below is an overview of which content players can expect more during Season 4:

• New weapon: Super 500 Shotgun Sidearm - A compact firearm intended for burglary purposes, but can also be adapted for very close combat.
• New weapon: RM68 - A configurable attack rifle with a built-in silencer that provides counterweight for enhanced stability and recoil control.
• New weapon: AC9 SMG - A light machine gun with special ergonomics to give maximum control when fired quickly from the hip.
• New weapon: RPT-31 LMG - A larger machine gun with low firing speed, heavy cartridges, very high ball speed and unique “flip-scopeâ€
• New gadget: SPH Explosive Launcher - Glue bombs that can be attached to players, objects and vehicles, making this the perfect instrument of destruction and anti-Infantry combat weapon.
• New vehicle: CAV-Brawler - This agile IFV vehicle crosses small spaces and protects soldiers. In addition to active threat detection and a defense system that throws grenades in all directions, this vehicle acts as a team pawner, allowing teammates to spawne next to the vehicle (even if it is full).

These additions are available to all players as part of the unpaid Battle Pass of Battlefield 2042. Players can unlock additional cosmetic items via the premium Battle Pass.

Players can continue to determine their role on the battlefield in Season 4 with the latest class system update, which Specialists assign to one of the four classic and well-known classes: Assault, Engineer, Recon and Support. The class system also determines the equipment to which Specialists have access, creating a more structured and understandable role for players.

In addition, later this season, players can look forward to a modified version of the Discarded folder, with improved visibility, various types of coverage to improve infantry battles, better control points, completely new areas on the map and much more.
