Cheaters in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 are being tackled quickly

Black Ops 7's fast, arcade-style action is very popular, but as with many popular online games, cheaters are emerging. According to publisher Activision, however, these cheaters are dealt with very quickly.

On X it shared officialële Call of Duty Updates account a comprehensive message about the problem. The battle between Activision and cheaters has been going on for years. The company uses its own Ricochet anti-cheat system, which is constantly updated to block new tricks. However, some hackers manage to adjust their software over and over again, which keeps repeating the cat-and-mouse game.

Not just Call of Duty is concerned with this problem. TheèTa of Battlefield 6 was plagued by cheaters. Both games require players to enable Secure Boot on their PC, which turns out to be technically difficult for some users.

For now, Activision seems to prevail in the ongoing fight against cheat. Whether that stays the same with the full release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on October 25, still to be seen.
