GTA 6-fans think they found real inspiration for Jason and Lucia apartment

GTA 6-fans think they've discovered the real inspiration for Jason and Lucia's apartment in Vice City. Instagram user prettyboycuh found a striking match with the former Belmar Condominium in Miami via Google Maps. The turquoise façade, fence, surrounding buildings and the parking lot show strong similarities to the location shown in recent gameplay images.

The building initially seemed to disappear on Street View, but by switching back to images from 2013, the complex came back into view. IGN also confirmed that the apartment complex was visible on Google Maps until 2022. The Belmar Condominium was built in 1973, sold for 12 million dollars in 2022 and shortly thereafter demolished.

Rockstar Games has not confirmed that the building served as an inspiration, but according to fans old Zillow ads point out that even parts of the interior are similar to the apartment from GTA 6.

Rockstar is known to use real locations as a basis for its open worlds. GTA 6 will appear on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. After the recent unveiling of about 27 minutes to new gameplay fans search massively for recognizable locations from the real world.
