GTA Online starts Summer Heist Event with rare panther image and millions of bonuses

Rockstar Games started today with the Summer Heist Event in GTA Online. During the temporary event, players will be able to benefit from additional rewards, exclusive cosmetic items and substantial discounts in the coming weeks. The biggest attraction is the return of the rare panther statue as a top prize in The Cayo Perico Heist, alongside double GTA$ and RP for various heist and game types.

From August 6 to 12, players will have the opportunity to obtain the panther image as their main target during their first completion of the final of The Cayo Perico Heist. In addition, participants who successfully complete the heist receive the exclusive Panther Tour Jacket for free.

Also the original heist is temporarily in the spotlight. Until August 5th, the first successful completion of both The Fleeca Heist and The Pacific Standard Heist results in double GTA$. Players completing The Fleeca Heist also receive the Fleeca Circuit delivery for the ÜCommander Cypher.

Besides the heist, Rockstar also introduces new rewards for different game types. Motor Wars (Cayo Perico) and Shipwrecks will deliver double GTA$ and RP until 5 August. From 6 to 12 August the same bonus applies to Assault on Cayo Perico, while A Superyacht Life offers double payouts until 12 August. The Community Mission Series rewards players during the same period even with three times as much GTA$ and RP.

Players can also earn various free rewards during the event. Depending on the playing period, exclusive garments, accessories and GTA$ are available. For example, players between August 6 and 12 receive GTA$ 1,000,000, the Sunset Glow Necklace and Glow Shades by simply logging in. In addition, additional amounts of money and cosmetic items can be cleared by winning Adversary game types or surviving multiple waves of Cayo Perico Survival.

The Kortz Center Heist also gets an update during the event. Until August 12, two new sets of paintings are added weekly as main targets. These works of art can be sold for a substantial profit or added to their own wall as decoration.

Furthermore, the in-game shop benefits from various discounts. Until 12 August there is a 60 percent discount on the Galaxy Super Yacht and its upgrades. In addition, dozens of vehicles are temporarily available at a 30 percent discount, while the Gun Van offers special offers on various weapons. GTA+ members receive additional benefits, including exclusive vehicle rewards, discounts on Hao's Special Works upgrades and a GTA$ 1,000,000 discount on the Art Studio upgrade for their home.

The Summer Heist Event runs in different stages until August 12th, offering players the opportunity to collect exclusive rewards, additional revenues and temporary discounts for several weeks.
