Founder Hypixel buys Hytale back from Riot Games
The founder of Hypixel managed to buy back the game "Hytale" from Riot Games after months of negotiation. According to Simon, the goal is to actually release the game, even with the "game and messy" state of the game.
Hytale was officially announced in 2018 after several years of development and was seen as a competitor for Minecraft. This especially because the game would be very friendly to muds. Large part of the recently closed studio "Hypixel Studio" has been hired to continue working on the game. How much money has been paid for has not been announced.
