PlayStation Plus removes four titles including Battlefield 1
Sony announced that four games will soon disappear from the PlayStation Plus catalogue. The most striking title is Battlefield 1 for PlayStation 4, a popular historical shooter that takes place during World War I. Ghostbusters are also: Spirits Unleashed (PS4, PS5), Tour de France 2023 (PS4, PS5) and The Last Clockwinder (PS VR2).
This announcement appeared in the PlayStation Store under the section Last chance to play, where players are warned of titles that will soon be unavailable via PlayStation Plus. Although no exact date has been mentioned for the removal, it is common that these titles disappear within a few weeks.
For fans of Battlefield 1 this means a last chance to play the game via subscription service before it disappears. Also the other titles including the cooperative Ghostbusters game, the official Tour de France simulation and the VR puzzle game The Last Clockwinder get a goodbye, which can be a miss especially for niche fans.
Players who still want to experience these games do well to start them quickly or to add to their library as long as they are still available. Sony has not yet explained the reason behind these removals.
