Preview: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 feels like a clear step forward for the series from the first few minutes. This time, Infinity Ward chooses a mix of fast action and tactical battles, making competitions more dynamic without losing the recognizable Modern Warfare feeling. Movements are smoother, fights are faster and maps seem designed to reward both aggressive and more strategic players.
The gunplay remains the strongest point of the game. Weapons feel powerful and every shot has impact. Thanks to improved animations, sound effects and recovery everything looks more realistic than before. Especially the balance between accessibility and depth makes a good first impression.
Also on a technical level, the game shows itself on its best side. The graphics are sharper, light effects create more atmosphere and performance remains stable during busy multiplayer competitions. The updated audio also makes it easier to locate enemies, which plays an important role during competitive matches.
After the first play sessions, Modern Warfare 4 seems to be one of the most complete Call of Duty games of recent years. The combination of fast gameplay, strong gunplay and modern presentation provides a promising first impression. If Infinity Ward manages to hold on to this quality towards the full release, the series may have a new topper.
To be continued!
