Project Motor Racing boosts Tokyo Game Show with new autoâ€TMs, circuit and online ecosystem

During the Tokyo Game Show, from 25 to 28 September, Project Motor Racing makes a powerful entrance with a series of impressive revelations. Publisher GIANTS Software and developer Straight4 Studios present a native hands-on experience, seven new car’s, six reputable car brands and the legendary Sebring International Raceway circuit. But the biggest surprise is the completely renewed online racing platform, which bets on accessibility, competition and community without subscriptions or payment walls.

Full online racing experience without barrières

Straight4 Studios-CEO Ian Bell emphasises the no-nonsense approach: “No passes. No rental. No subscriptions.” From day één offers Project Motor Racing a complete online racing experience designed for drivers who prefer fair competition over complex access systems. The multiplayer ecosystem consists of:

  • Monthly cross-play championships with weekly rotation and fixed racing times
  • Two Leaderboard Modes: Factory Driver Challenges and Endurance Hall Events, i dicïinspired by real races
  • Custom lobby’s as before: host your own races with car’s, circuits and rules, at no extra cost
  • Social Races 15 minutes: ideal for newcomers or fast sessions with varied playlists
  • Ranked Racing with matchmaking, divisions and class-specific rankings

Players start their carrière with a License Test at Lime Rock Park, after which they get a Driver Rating between 0 and 100. This rating determines matchmaking and grid format, and allows cross-platform racing between PC and console users. Officialële multiplayer trailer reveals all the details of this ecosystem.
