Release on Gamescom: Trucksim with ambition

During the Opening Night Live on Gamescom 2025 is Road Kings officially presented. It is a next-gen truck simulation developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment, scheduled for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.

Gameplay: from rookie to veteran

Players start as starting truck driver in the U.S. South. With a 40-ton semi trailer you drive through landscapes such as those of South Georgia and North Florida from the busy Jacksonville to the shady streets of historic Savannah.

On the way, you build a reputation, face rivals, face dynamic weather and traitorous roads, and offer emergency relief to affected communities.

Road Kings offers a realistic simulation in which truck features such as weight, wear, brakes, torque, tires and transmission play a role. In addition, dynamically changing weather and road conditions affect your driving behaviour.

Story and Challenges

The world is not without danger: A ruthless corporation expands its power and causes catastrophes. Players respond by making deliveries in difficult conditions and helping communities.

Multiplayer & development path

Road Kings introduces “asynchronisous multiplayer†hindered, including cross-platform support. Join or start a virtual transport company and climb the global rankings.

The game includes at launch one comprehensive folder (South Georgia and North Florida), with expansion options via live updates. The campaign spans about 10 hours, supplemented by infinite loose assignments. A closed beta is also planned; However, registration does not guarantee access.
