Rockstar officially announces GTA 6-collector box but the game is not included

Rockstar Games has the Goodtime State – Vice City Collection for Grand Theft Auto VI officially announced. The developer thus confirms a striking part of the big merchandise leak that appeared earlier today.

The collection was initially discovered in the backend of the Rockstar Store. At that time it was not clear exactly what Rockstar was planning with the package and it was speculated that it might be a special Collector's Edition of GTA 6. In the meantime, Rockstar has provided clarity. The company describes the Goodtime State – Vice City Collection as a premium Grand Theft Auto VI collectible set and releases the package as a limited Collector's Box. It is striking that Grand Theft Auto VI itself is not included in the collection.

At the centre of the collection is Macca the Gator, a character from a fictional television program that can be seen in the world of Leonida. One of the most striking items in the box is a 6-inch Macca the Gator figure with a hidden storage compartment.

In addition, the collection includes a special GTA VI version of the Oakley Frogskins sunglasses, with Prizm Sapphire lenses. The box consists not only of traditional collectibles, but also of various accessories that match the atmosphere and style of Vice City.

Furthermore, buyers receive a New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback, a magnetic Macca the Gator mirror, a Vice City swizzle spoon, a keychain in the form of a razor blade and a Leonida Keys crossbodytas. Also a Chunkee the Manatee shot glass, a set of Leonida Keys-enamel pins in a metal box, premium stickers and a double-sided souvenir poster with Leonida landscape are part of the package.

The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection will be published on November 19th and can be pre-ordered for 399 euros via the Rockstar Store. Rockstar stresses that this is a limited collection and that pre-orders are only available as long as the stock lasts.

The Collector's Box was previously part of a comprehensive list of possible future GTA VI merchandise that emerged via the Rockstar Store backend. That list would contain about 55 different products, including shirts, hats and accessories. There were also reportedly among products based on fictional brands and characters from the game, including Burger Shot, Manatees and Macca the Gator.

With the officialële announcement of the Goodtime State – At least Vice City Collection seems to be a significant part of that leaked information. Whether Rockstar will actually release the other products from the leak is not known yet.
