Rockstar seems to be getting closer to GTA 6-hacker

The search for the person behind the recent GTA 6 leaks continues unabated. About an hour ago, another video of the suspected hacker appeared online. At the same time, Rockstar Games seems to be increasingly focused in researching the source of the leaks.

According to recent legal documents, the parent company Take-Two Interactive has officiallyëThe Commission has submitted requests to Microsoft and Discord to obtain data that may help to identify the responsible person or group. The documents show that Rockstar specifically knows which accounts, servers and data it is looking for. This indicates that the company may already have collected important indications.

It is striking that the requests are not only aimed at accounts that appear directly linked to the leaks. Data from a Discord server connected to GTA content maker DarkViperAU would also be part of the investigation. This gives the impression that Rockstar suspects that the hacker may have been inside this community at some point.

DarkViperAU is known for its content around Grand Theft Auto and has built a large online community. So far, there is no evidence that the content creator is himself involved in the leaks. The research appears to focus exclusively on potential activities of users within the server.

In addition to the Discord data, Rockstar and Take-Two also request other information that is not yet fully clear what it includes. However, the legal documents point out that the company is trying to get a complete picture of the digital traces that the reader left behind.

Although the identity of the hacker is still unknown, Rockstar seems to have more leads than previously thought. With the recent legal action against Microsoft and Discord, the company shows determination to track down the responsible GTA 6 leaks.

For the time being, the hacker continues to publish new images, but the question is how much longer it will take to get Rockstar closer to the source of the leaks.
