Rumor: Forza Horizon 6 brings festival to the streets of Japan: Japanese setting leaked

The advent of Forza Horizon 6 Seems closer than ever to rumors that Playground Games has a spectacular new world in store: Japan.

Japanese setting no longer just a wish

An Instagram post from the Australian car importer Cult & Classic, which has since been removed, recently frowned the eyebrows. The post showed a member of Playground Games who digitized Kei cars a typical Japanese class of ultracompact vehicles for the “next release†

Also Windows Central reports that official documents indicate that Forza Horizon 6 is likely to be revealed on the Tokyo Game Show 2025, which makes sense if the game actually takes place in Japan

What can players expect?

Analysts outline an ambitious vision of the future:

  • The game is probably built on the updated ForzaTech engineas used in Forza Motorsport (2023) and the coming Fable-reboot, which speaks of graphics and physics improvements
  • Platforms: day-1 release on Xbox Series, Windows PCand Game Pass. A later release on PlayStation is probably, given the success of FH5 there
  • Release period: An official announcement is expected at the end of September 2025, with a launch in 2026

The community is enthusiastic

Fans have been high on Japan's list for years. The varied landscape from neon-lit cities to mountainous touge routes and rich audiovisual culture make Japan a dream destination for a Horizon title

On Reddit the prospect of Japan inspires imagination:

“Imagine a Horizon in Japan. Four seasons, sakura, castles and modern buildings it would be breathtaking. ♪ ♪
â€œGod yes, every Asian country. Kei-car expansion is almost already written. ♪ ♪
